Obtain an Apostille stamp on a UK Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage
We attest certificates of no impediment to marriage and affidavits of single status issued in the United Kingdom when required for presentation to authorities abroad.
A Certificate of No Impediment to Marriage is legalized for official use abroad by obtaining an Apostille stamp from the UK Foreign Office (Legalization Office). Authorities of countries that have signed the Hague Apostille Convention will recognise the Apostille directly as confirmation of authenticity. Otherwise, the authentication must be confirmed by the destination country's embassy in London.
Apostille countries include Spain, France, USA, Greece, Italy.

UK Apostilles can be applied directly to a Certificate of No impediment that has been issued by a UK register office (the original certificate is required). If you require a certificate of no impediment or single status, and you are not currently in the UK, then we can assist with arranging a notarized affidavit from abroad that can be certified in the UK.
Isarey will take care of the entire process in the United Kingdom for you. We offer individual assistance certifying your documents and a dedicated project manager to ensure that each process is carried out efficiently and securely.
We'll obtain all necessary apostilles, legalizations and certifications and assist you if you need to notarize an affidavit of single status from abroad for a UK apostille. We also provide notarized and certified translations into Spanish, French, Portuguese and other languages, so that your certificate is properly legalized and ready to submit in the country where you need to present it.
Obtain and attest UK certificates of single status
To obtain a certificate of no impediment from your local UK register office, you must be UK citizen and resident. At least 28 days’ notice of the intended marriage must be given locally before the certificate can be issued.
If you are not a UK citizen, but you require a UK-certified letter of no impediment, you may be able to issue a notarized affidavit to certify your single status – check with the recipient authority for requirements.
If you are abroad, certificates or affidavits can be obtained from some British Embassies (these are then eligible for a UK apostille stamp). If your local embassy can’t help, you may be able to notarize an affidavit locally that we can then notarize again in the UK for an apostille stamp.

Certified translations of UK Certificates of Single Status
When presenting a certificate of no impediment or single status from the United Kingdom in countries which do not have English as an official language, then a certified translation may be required. The certified translation must meet the requirements of the destination country, so that a translation done locally in the United Kingdom may not be valid.
Depending on the recipient country and authority, there are generally two options. The first option is to obtain a translation certified by a UK apostille, giving the translation the same validity as a notarised translation done in the destination country (although some countries may have specific requirements). The second option is to obtain a certified translation locally in the destination country.
