Apostille Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates in Albania for use in the United Arab Emirates and abroad
We authenticate Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates issued in Albania with Apostille stamps from the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Tirana.
We can obtain apostille stamps to certify Albanian civil status certificates: Birth Certificates (Certifikate Lindje), Death Certificates (Certifikate Vdekje) and Marriage Certificates (Certifikate Martese) issued by the Albanian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Albanian Apostilles are usually processed in 1 - 2 business days and delivered worldwide by courier.
Authorities of countries that have signed the Hague Apostille Convention will recognise the Apostille directly as confirmation of authenticity. Otherwise, the authentication must be legalized by the destination country's embassy (Qatar embassy in Tirana, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam embassy in Athens, Thailand embassy in Rome).
See list of Apostille Convention Countries
Albanian Apostilles on Birth, death and marriage certificates can often be obtained using digital certificates issued with an electronic seal issued by the National Register of Civil Status (RKGJC) or using original paper certificates signed and stamped by the Albanian civil status office.

Digital certificates
Digital certificates can be obtained from the e-Albania (in Albanian) portal and have the same legal value as paper certificates in Albania. These are issued with electronic signature and are provided immediately (births, deaths and marriages occurring after 2010) or in 3 working days (births, deaths and marriages occurring before 2010).
Paper certificates can be obtained in Albania from the municipal civil status office (gjendja civile) where the person is registered. Albanian citizens resident abroad can apply online to receive birth certificates by post.
Certified translations of Albania death, marriage and birth certificates
When presenting Albania marriage, death and birth certificates and other vital records in countries which do not have Albanian as an official language, then a certified translation may be required. The certified translation must meet the requirements of the destination country, so that a translation done locally in Albania may not be valid.
Isarey works with local notaries and sworn translators in a wide range of destination countries. We'll take care of the entire legalization and translation process, so that your certificates are correctly translated and ready to submit:
GERMANY: translations into German must be certified by an officially authorized and appointed sworn translator.
FRANCE: translations into French must be certified by a translator accredited by a French court of appeal (Cour d'appel)
ITALY: translations must be authenticated by a Court Clerk or by a Notary Public in Italy
PORTUGAL: translations into Portuguese can be certified in Portugal by a local notary
